  • APPROVAL OF THE SIX WEEK ARBOTION IN THE STATE OF CAROLINA.

    In the south Carolina state, the abortion ban has been approved for six weeks for most women, where the legislators in the US state have implemented the bill. The bill is to be approved by Henry McMaster who is currently the state’s republican governor at the moment.

    The bill which is widely known as the ”Fetal Heartbeat and Protection from Abortion Act” is to basically ban abortions in most cases nearly about six weeks into pregnancy state. The only exception to the abortion right is when 12 weeks of rape and incest has been committed to the victim which allows one to be provided with an exception for medical emergencies.

    A vote was issued by the South Carolina states where people among the party lines managed to pass the bill into motion. The bill was likely to be opposed by nearly three Republican women. As it was confirmed through Ms. Ringer who posted a statement on Twitter which stated” Twenty seven Republican men voted today to ban abortion in SC” , Ms. Ringer wrote on Twitter earlier today” I’m gutted, Because women will die. Full stop”.

    During the Tuesday voting exercise Mr. McMaster made an remark concerning the major Abortion bill when he stated ” our state is one step closer to protecting more innocent lives and I look forward to signing this bill into law as soon as possible” he said

    The bill was passed during the year 2021 when it was rejected by Supreme court concluding that the state constitution’s privacy protections required certain limits to allow women sufficient time to end a pregnancy. South Carolina has been the only state in the south seeking abortion as some of the efforts are put towards the State of Virginia.
